“I was initially reluctant to immerse myself in the Greek archetypes very simply because I have never found the achetype approach useful or inspiring to me. However, attracted by Vanina Gallo’s gentle yet compelling personality, I decided to give it a try. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that each Greek god or goddess was a welter of contradictions and a hodge-podge of attributes, stories, and relationships, but each with such a distinct yet indefinable personality that I am able to recognize each one in myself. In Vanina’s presentations, archetypes become poetry and the deities are revealed as parts of my psyche... does this make me a poem? Perhaps not, but my life is the richer for my experience with Vanina’s pantheon. I also much appreciate her graphic presentation, which draws on a multitude of sources from Greek art, unsurprisingly, to Renaissance art all the way to modern photography, all of which successfully evokes the complexity and beauty of these mythemes. The exercises and exchanges Vanina has developed for the group anchor the experience physically, emotionally, and cognitively.”
